This hands-on, interactive workshop, based on the Within Our Reach^® program, helps couples learn how to talk without fighting, and keep their love healthy and fun.

They say duct tape works on just about everything, but you need some different tools to stay Hitched & Happy. At Operation Us, we know a marriage without good communication skills is like using a Phillips screwdriver on a flathead screw, it won't work! That's why we are offering Hitched & Happy-Relationship Tools for Good Ol' Boys (and gals, too).

At Hitched & Happy, you'll take home the tools you and your spouse need for fighting fair, having fun, and making a relationship last. Make no mistake, this is not therapy. Instead, this is a series of fun, enjoyable, and engaging workshops with folks just like you! You and your spouse will learn how to make your relationship the best that it can be, no matter where you are in your life.

Learn how to:

• locate the tools needed for fighting fair, having fun, and making a relationship last
• to talk without fighting
• to keep your love healthy and fun
• show appreciation and love in a ways that are meaningful to your partner
• raise concerns in more effective and less hurtful ways
• talk in ways that won't drain energy from the relationship.

How Is This Workshop Usually Offered?

Hitched & Happy is a 15-hour program that offers skills and information in a fun, interactive and creative way. Workshops typically run 10 weeks, for 1.5 hours a night, with a meal. Some workshops have shorter schedules, with longer sessions.

Hitched & Happy relationship education workshops are offered in various places throughout the 29-county grant area in Southwest Missouri.
