The teenage years. It’s the last time you actually outgrown your
clothes before they go out of style. You’re dealing with all kinds of
challenges, from algebra to zits. Messages to your friends often end in
TTFN or CU L8R (and your parents think it’s weird). You’ve got drivers
ed, phys ed, and probably sex ed.
But what about “relationship ed”?
Teenagers are shifting from being kids to being adults. They take on more responsibility and have more expected of them. And, for the most part, boys have decided that they can get more from girls than just cooties. This is also when we all start forming relationship patterns that will help or hinder our future relationships. We’re not in the 1950s, and marrying your high school sweet heart isn’t all that common. But the habits teens develop about their relationships will affect them for years to come. What Workshops Are Right for You (or your teens)?Relationship Smarts
These workshops are specifically designed for teens in high school, and address relationship issues from their point of view. Relationship Smarts workshops show teens how to deal with relationship issues like breaking up, good communication and setting limits.
