One of the biggest days in your life is fast approaching. You’re spending a lot of time thinking about diapers and formula, car seats and strollers. You’ve likely got a list of things you want to do before the due date – and it’s probably a mile long. Becoming parents is a big deal and there are lots of things to work on.

But have you forgotten your relationship with the other parent?

People often talk about child safety in terms of protected outlets and the removal of lead paint. But it’s important that a child’s developmental safety be remembered, too. Research continues to show that kids do better when they grow up with both biological parents in a low-conflict home. Parents’ unhealthy conflict or divorce increases the chances that children will face difficult challenges as they grow up.

At Operation Us, we think it’s important that the parents’ relationship not get lost amid the chaos of a new baby.  Whether you’re a single parent or have been a couple for years, we’re offering workshops to help you make better decisions and have happier, healthier relationships.

What Workshops Are Right for You?

Prepping for Parenthood

This workshop is specifically designed to reach expectant couples, married or not. Workshops are attended by both parents, where you’ll learn new communication and conflict management skills and talk about issues that matter to expectant parents.

Within My Reach®

Single parents don’t raise their children alone, even if they don’t live with the other parent. And the relationship choices you make will have an effect on your children. Within My Reach will help you to make better, healthier relationship decisions for yourself that will benefit you and your child.
